Hats-off to Rasool Khan and Ahmed Khan of KK plastic waste management a company in Bangalore which has developed a way to use plastic waste to strengthen the roads.
And this is not merely an experiment any more. They have already paved roads using bitumen mixed with plastic waste and the results have been very encouraging. The strength of roads is much better and they are lasting more. This is good news not only because we can safely dispose off the plastic waste which would otherwise end up choking drains, people also get good roads.
So, whats the delay all you people in Bangalore need to do is to segregate your plastic waste and make sure you sell/dispose it off to KK Plastics and Waste Management who can then use it to improve yours roads. Isn't that exiting.
I will try and post places where you can sell/give off your plastic waste for proper disposal/recycling.
